    The Regional Manager is responsible for creating and implementing initiatives designed to grow sales for all Becker Professional Education (BPE) products within an assigned territory.   They can successfully manage and lead a team of Field Marketing Specialists; monitoring objectives, profitability goals, client partnerships and customer relations.



    • Achieve all region goals for revenue, profitability, market penetration, productivity and customer service.
    • Ensure effective presentations are delivered at colleges and companies to raise awareness of BPE and increase enrollments. 
    • Champion new and emerging verticals and product for successful implementation.
    • Select, train, coach and develop direct reports.
    • Drive accountability by conducting performance evaluations and provides regular performance feedback to direct reports; works with each employee to create goals, monitors goal achievement, and provides one-on-one coaching as needed.
    • Work with Director of Business Development and Sales or RM II to develop and implement annual operating plans to grow BPE business while providing superior customer service.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
    • Assist the Field Marketing Specialists in negotiating contracts with firms, , universities, and societies to become partners and offer joint programs or discounted tuition benefits.
    • Review and analyze reporting to identify trends and adjust go-to-market strategy accordingly.
    • Encourage creativity an out-of-the-box thinking to stay ahead of the competition.
    • Collaborate with Global Accounts Team and Field Marketing Specialists on joint sales efforts targeting larger opportunities such as public accounting firms, corporations, government agencies, CFA societies, CPE programs, etc.
    • Assist Field Marketing Specialists in the procurement, submission and usage of accounting and finance inquiries.
    • Monitor performance of Campus Ambassadors.
    • Partner with Lead Faculty and Regional Faculty Manager to achieve classroom marketing objectives.
    • Work with Regional Marketing Managers, Field Marketing Specialists and Corporate Marketing to ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date and effective for promoting BPE products in the Field.
    • Assist with classroom logistics, including scheduling classrooms, instructors and materials distribution.
    • Develop and submits annual expense budgets and revenue projections for assigned area.
    • Collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner and to resolve all outstanding administrative and student issues.
    • Develop and maintain working relationships and conducts joint marketing and sales efforts with multiple institutions to maximize revenue across the entire organization.
    • Share successes with local and national team members.
    • Contribute to overall success of BPE and organizational partners.
    • Monitor and approve time off, expenses, office supplies, marketing invoices, marketing materials and all other Region expenses. 
    • Completes other duties as assigned.



    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business related discipline. 
    • Professional credential (i.e., CPA or CFA) helpful but not required.
    • At least 8 years experience, preferably in sales and/or marketing, management or business development. 
    • Strong supervisory skills required. 
    • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including effective presentation and public speaking skills required. 
    • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to market, sell, and communicate BPE’s program to a wide audience. 
    • Ability to create and implement new initiatives. 
    • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively manage others in a home office based environment. 
    • General PC and Microsoft Office skills required.
