    Becker Professional Education provides exam preparation and continuing professional education solutions to consumers and business partners. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new B2C sales across the Becker Professional Education product lines. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our aggressive customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct warm and cold sales calls to prospects that are generated through internal and external sources
    • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
    • Make 50-100 outbound calls per day to new and existing customers to explore business opportunities
    • Penetrate all targeted accounts and generate sales from within client base
    • Collaborate with appropriate team members and manager to determine the necessary strategic sales approaches
    • Generate interest and close sales by leveraging Becker’s value proposition
    • Generate leads from cold calling data and ensure that any do not call lists (DNC) are respected
    • Maintain and expand company’s database of prospects
    • Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas
    • Attend all new product and service training sessions and demonstrate ongoing knowledge of Becker products and services through sales interactions
    • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions on promotion levels
    • Interact effectively and positively with all customers and colleagues
    • Adhere to company quality standards, company policies and regulatory guidelines
    • Completes other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Two or more years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity
    • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals and achieve sales quotas
    • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development and time management
    • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Sales Force a plus
    • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office and Windows based programs required
