  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The Director of Inside Sales and Customer Service is responsible for the Inside Sales and Customer Service teams serving all Becker product lines including CPA, CPE and USMLE. This role is responsible for the strategy, design and delivery of these functions, and the leadership and development of talent to achieve organizational goals in these areas. This role provides a critical strategic link across sales and service functions to achieve goals for customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement strategies across sales and service functions defining cross-functional requirements and documentation, processes and procedures, resources, training and development, and measurement and management activities.
    • Lead high-performing team to ensure proactive outreach to perspective customers and high quality customer support.
    • Ensure effective talent development and talent management - support colleague training, individual development planning, regular coaching and feedback.
    • Set strategy for reporting and analytics team to develop reports and dashboards to measure sales, customer service and chat metrics that enable effective management of team performance.
    • Develop and maintain partnership with marketing teams and field operations to ensure delivery of proper lead volume and mix to achieve B2C sales goals.
    • Cultivate productive and supportive relationships with all Becker product groups and ATGE centers of excellence and corporate functions.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other relevant master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible sales and customer service management experience.
    • Established track record for leading inside sales/recruitment and customer service operations, leading and motivating a high-performing team and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue and relationship management goals.
    • Experience developing strategies, deploying technology and delivering outstanding, integrated sales/service across multiple channels (phone, video, chat, SMS).
    • Strong experience utilizing enterprise reporting and analytics services, with demonstrable success in KPI development and management.
    • Experience and capability to maximize effectiveness of enterprise sales and service systems.
    • Long-term history of successful team leadership, engagement and talent development in large, cross-functional setting.
    • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate and manage change at all levels of the organization.
    • Operates with urgency; displays problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Advanced MS Office skills required.
